Planes, Boats and Automobiles
Step 1 - Fly In
Sint Maarten / Saint Martin - Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM)
Several options for direct flights from the Tri-State area
Continue to step 2 upon arrival
Anguilla - Anguilla-Clayton J. Lloyd Airport (AXA)
Will have to connect (likely in Miami)
Grab a cab to your hotel. Easy.
Step 2 - Ferries
Public Ferry - Marigot Port, Saint Martin (~20 min ride to Anguilla)
A ~$20 taxi will bring you from SXM to the public ferry port in Marigot (French side of St. Martin)
The ticket window (a small, white booth) opens ~30 mins before each departure. Ferries depart at 9:30am, 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 4:30pm, 5:15pm, and 6:00pm
Cost - $5 tax and $30 ticket / person (CASH)
Ferries depart Anguilla at 8:30am, 9:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:15pm
Cost - $28 tax and $30 ticket / person (CASH)
Private Ferries
There are options for private ferries that are very close to SXM. Reach out to Matt if you would like to explore this option for your group.
Step 3 - Cabs / Cars
Taxis
There is no Uber or Lyft in St. Martin or Anguilla
The taxis are based on a radius system rather than a meter, meaning going 1 foot or 1 mile can cost the same.
Taxis in Anguilla start at $22 for 2 people + $5 for each additional person. If you are staying at Cap Juluca, Turtle’s Nest or another nearby hotel, all of our events and the ferry will be within the closest radius in terms of the taxi pricing. (We will have shuttles for most anyway.)
Other options (if you plan to explore outside wedding stuff)
Scooter / Mopeds (very close to the ferry terminal) - D&D Rental
Cars - several companies at the ferry terminal - Andy's Rental
Mokes - super cool island buggies. The rental office is a short ride from the ferry. - Moke Rental
